Kinekt’s founder has always been a passionate cyclist, someone who thrives on exploring challenging terrain—from gravel roads to muddy trails and rocky mountain paths. But over years of riding, he began to notice a recurring problem: the fatigue and discomfort caused by continuous vibration on rough surfaces.
“The joy of cycling should come from freedom—not from battling constant vibration,” he once said.
That insight sparked a bold idea: What if there was a seatpost that could truly absorb shock and enhance comfort without compromising performance? The vision was exciting, but bringing it to life would require expertise in both precision design and advanced manufacturing.
The Start of a Meaningful Collaboration
In pursuit of a solution, he began searching for a manufacturing partner capable of realizing such an innovative concept. That’s when our paths crossed.
From our first conversation, we were drawn to the technical challenge and the potential value of the idea. With years of experience in precision machining and product design, we believed this vision was not only feasible—but also transformative for the cycling world.
So, we decided to embark on this journey together: from a rough concept to a fully functional, high-performance suspension seatpost.
Solving Real Engineering Challenges
Developing the seatpost wasn’t without obstacles. We had to tackle a number of key technical questions:
- How do we achieve effective shock absorption without adding unnecessary weight?
- How can we ensure consistent performance across different terrains?
- How do we design a product that fits a wide range of bike models and is easy to install？
Through countless iterations, testing, and refinements—from material selection to structural optimization—we engineered a solution: a multi-stage spring suspension system that offers excellent shock absorption while allowing riders to adjust based on their weight and riding conditions.
We also optimized our CNC precision manufacturing process, using high-strength aluminum alloys to achieve the perfect balance between lightweight design and long-term durability.
Prototype-Patent-Product Lanch-A dream come true
The moment we handed over the first prototype, the founder couldn’t wait to put it to the test. He mounted it on his bike and headed straight for a rugged trail.
The result? Noticeably reduced vibration, a smoother ride, and a big smile.
“This is exactly the product I’ve been dreaming of,” he told us.
To protect this unique innovation, Kinekt filed for—and was granted—a patent for the seatpost’s proprietary design. Soon after, the product entered full production and quickly gained attention in the cycling community. Riders praised its performance, comfort, and adjustability, turning it into a must-have upgrade for cyclists of all kinds.
